On Friday, April 18th, 2025, i4Y is co-sponsoring a colloquium with the Possibility Lab, Institute of Human Development (IHD), Center on Civility and Democratic Engagement,  Goldman School of Public Policy and the State of California Youth Empowerment Commission. Please join us for "Levers for Change in California: Innovative Approaches to Youth Engagement in Policy, Politics, and Participatory Research." The colloquium will feature Amy Lerman, PhD, Emily Ozer, PhD, Brian F. Villa, PhD, Meredith Sadin, PhD, and Wednesday Pope.

i4Y Co-Director Emily Ozer speaks at "Stand up for Science" rally in Sproul Plaza
On Friday, March 7th, 2025, Emily Ozer, co-director of i4Y and Director of the Institute of Human Development (IHD), spoke at the "Stand up for Science" rally on the Savio Steps in Sproul Plaza at UC Berkeley. This rally was to protest ongoing or threatened cuts to federal research funds, part of a day of action organized by research scientists around the country. In Ozer's words, "Let us rise to this historical moment together, standing up to support science and the communities we serve.
